So getting a Max Factor product was a must. Unfortunately, Max Factor is no longer sold in the United States. Max Factor Wild Mega Volume Mascara ($11,99) When I go back, I’ll definitely pick up a “003.” In the meantime, I’m using this too-dark BB cream as a bronzer - so far, so good. Sadly, the cream I picked was a shade too dark for me. I loved this BB Cream! The texture was amazing and it had great coverage.

It smooths the skin and it’s meant to be worn under foundation. This might be my favorite of the bunch! It reminds of L’Oreal’s Miracle Blur Finishing Cream, but it’s way cheaper.

Below I tested some of Etos’ most popular products - plus another European favorite: Max Factor. But Etos actually has its own line of makeup, too (so snazzy). In The Netherlands, they’re all about Etos.Įtos is their go-to drugstore that carries many of the brands we know and love. In the States, we’re all about Walgreens, Duane Reade, and CVS (gotta have that e.l.f., Cover Girl, and Wet n’ Wild). Did I mention that Germany and Belgium are close neighbors? As we didn’t know hihi) so I applied it on the arches of my upper lip and on my under lip I applied it at the end of my mount up to a centimetre toward the centre of my lips. This is the first time I use a lip liner. On my lips I used Essence Lip liner #14 Femme Fatale. Even tough, for the prize and Douglas is a well know store, is to me a disadvantage. Maybe it’s because it should be used on your eyelid instead of your waterline. I had to apply it many times before I even could see the colour.
I must say that I’m a bit disappointed about this one. It really does not give you clumps! On my waterline I used Douglas Jumbo Shadow Pen. How amazing is that? For my lashes I used Essence Plump! No Clumps Volume Mascara. And that’s because of the shape of the liner. You just draw the line and you already have the winged part. What I like about this eyeliner is that you just need to have a steady hand.
When I finish with my face, I let it be for a minute before I begin with my eyes.įor my eyes I used Essence Superfine Eyeliner. To avoid that ‘’make-up face’’ I recommend a matt one. I like Matt foundations! It gives you more a natural look. When I finished with the concealer I used Delia Cosmetics Mineral Velvet Skin Long Lasting Matt Foundation. I applied it under my eyes as an upside down triangle for a more natural look. The concealer I used is Essence Stay Natural Concealer. This transparent primer is a gift from heaven! This miracle wonder is a good basic before putting your concealer and foundation on. What I like about this look, it is a classic one! It just never goes wrong.įirst I used the Etos Skin Smoothing Primer. For this make-up look I got inspired by Marilyn Monroe signature look.
